Top Tips for Creating Success

DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP.

Each small step you take will get you closer to your goals. If you happen to have days where you miss workouts or have a ‘cheat meal’ remember your only human. If you beat yourself up it could potentially backlash to create longer ‘problems’ for yourself. Just remember to keep that end goal in mind and try your best!

FIND INSPIRATION & KEEP IT CLOSE.

Find inspirational quotes and pictures to keep constant reminders and motivation. You may put them as your wallpaper on your phone or laptop or create an inspirational board. This will help remind you why your are on your journey in the first place.

TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR FOOD.

Hands down this is one of the top was to help you to create beautiful colourful meals. Using different variations and textures it will lead you to more satisfaction of taste and fullness. Its also a bit of fun to add to the journey too!

CREATE A SUPPORT NETWORK.

The people around will either be the best motivation or the worst. It is very important to create a support network full of people who are only going to help you through your journey. Online, you can join groups with people on the same journey or just simply sharing the same passions, goals and interests.

TAKE PROGRESS PICTURES.

This is the only way to see true progress in your body shape. Please remember it takes a few weeks for yourself to notice differences and even longer for anyone else to notice a difference. Just imagine the feeling of success you will get at the end 🙂

HIDE THE SCALES.

Muscle weighs more then fat. If your going to loose fat but tone up and get muscle judging yourself according to the scale is the wrong move. Muscle burns fat and increases your metabolism so its important to have muscle! Remember you want to be strong not skinny.

KEEP A JOURNAL.

Of thoughts, workouts, food and everything in-between this will help to ease your mind and give you better sleep as well as keep you more accountable.

REWARD YOURSELF WITH THE RIGHT THINGS.

Instead of having cake or chocolate as a reward, make it something that will further your goals. Some ideas are a facial, massage, fitness clothes or kitchen wear such as a new juicer or spiral slicer.

DO NICE THINGS FOR YOURSELF EVERY DAY.

This is one i’m currently working on as i used to have very negative thoughts about myself, but i’m turning it around though respecting myself. I am a firm believer that by simply treating yourself with respect you can only move forward towards your goals, whether its in fitness, health or being happy. Remember the three parts to treating yourself; move, nourish and believe.

BREATHE.

We all forget to do this! And i don’t just mean breathe for oxygen, i mean taking deep purposeful breathes to clear your mind, bring oxygen into your blood and energise your body.

SMILE.

Smiling is contagious. Not just among other people but within ourselves, it makes up feel happier from within. Life is pretty amazing, we just have to learn to appreciate it.
